Bathabile Dlamini’s Lavish 60th Birthday Party, RET Bigwigs Attended

Former ANC Women’s League president, Bathabile Dlamini over the weekend celebrated her 60th birthday with fellow comrades who could not help it, but also joined on the dance floor.

Dlamini is one of the ANC comrades rallying behind Zweli Mkhize for ANC presidency. The presidential hopeful Zweli Mkhize was seen on the dance floor along with Bathabile Dlamini as well as Nomvula Mokonyane.

The RET faction is clearly divided. Some comrades like Andile Lungisa are rallying behind Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma for ANC presidency, while others want Zweli Mkhize to emerge. Unless they chose to swallow pride and unite, going into elective conference while divided will cost them heavily.

The 60th birthday party of Bathabile Dlamini was held at AmaZulu Boss house in Howick. Most RET heavyweights were there including Carl Niehaus, Ace Magashule, Nomvula, Zweli Mkhize, Faith Muthambi and others.

Her lavish birthday party however send critics furiously typing who felt Bathabile Dlamini is deceitful as she lied in court that she did not have money, but over the weekend she threw a party.

“Is this the same Bathabile Dlamini who told the court she had no money for her fine in the perjury case. Wow, and she is throwing 60th birthday party, as rotten as they come,” said an angry social critic.

Some are shocked that Bathabile Dlamini is not 60 years old. They argued that she looked as if she is already in her 70s because of how she handles herself. Over the years critics have been dragging Bathabile Dlamini saying she has a face that looks like she drinks too much, but it’s something that she has disputed.

Mkhize’s presence at the party is being interpreted to mean that he is really power hungry and is going everywhere to seek support.

“Zweli Mkhize is reading the mood, wants to be there in on the dance floor but not reveal too much in case it’s the wrong crowd. I feel sorry for khabazela just for the sake of power he is forced to associate himself with this group,” some said.
