Bad News| It is goodbye to another e.tv show

Mzansi viewers will soon watch one of their favorite show for the last time as it is coming to an end.

Imbewu The Seed is a South African show that airs on e.tv during the week at 9pm. It is a show that revolves around life in the city and life in the rural areas. Imbewu, focuses on a family with none ending issues being the Bengu family. The family has money but is forever faced with problem after problem. Imbewu The Seed consists of talented actors and actresses such as Leleti Khumalo, Phindile Gwala, Tony Kgoroge and others.

The Seed has kept many viewers entertained since it came to television screens regardless of some actors having left the show. Unfortunately, it is coming to an end just like Rhythm City that was once one of the e.tv shows.

Confirming and speaking about Imbewu ending, Head of Local Programming being Helga Palmer said, “we’d like to thank the production for it’s commitment in delivering five great seasons of compelling stories despite the highly competitive time slots it found itself in (9pm and 9:30 pm)”.

“The show managed to dethrone it’s biggest competitor in the 9pm slot and it is currently the most viewed show in the late night slot. We are proud to be ending on a high”, Palmer added.

It is so sad that more celebrities will be loosing jobs as it was previously revealed that Durban Gen is coming to an end. E.tv cannot let go of many actors and actresses at once especially when these are difficult times and jobs are needed to put food on the table.

The production company was supposed to atleast come up with a better solution that is gonna work both for it and the actors and actresses. It was gonna be better for it’s days to be decreased and not end. For example, it was gonna be better if it only air for three days in a week atleast those actors would still have jobs.
