Since the passing of her husband, the young widow Babes Wodumo has been the talk of the town. Mmapintsha and his wife Babes Wodumo were the couple that people talked about because of how things happened in their relationship; then he passed on, and their relationship has still become a topic of discussion for many because of the things that were mostly scandalous that were happening within their relationship, one of which was the fact that Mamphintsha was unfaithful towards Babes Wodumo when he was still alive, and she was very much aware of that.

 

 

 

 

After his passing, Babes Wodumo was already seen on stage performing, and people were criticising the way she was mourning, stating that it was not the appropriate way for an African woman to mourn her partner; she should be at home covered in black clothes, which Babes Wodumo was already not seen wearing as well in her latest videos. Her mother-in-law has also stated that Babes Wodumo was disrespecting her son because she was not mourning him properly like a good wife.

Her mother-in-law has stated that after the burial, Babes Wodumo went back to performing, and she was already seen in clubs, drinking alcohol too. It has now been explained why Babes Wodumo mourns the way she does, in the typical traditional way like most people. It has been said that she is doing it that way because she is fulfilling the agreement that she had with her husband, Mmaphintsa.

Babes Wodumo sister shared that the agreement came after Babes Wodumo and her husband was a tv series, and he said to her when he does she must not mourn him by sitting on a mattress, with candles and wearing black, Mmaphintsa told Babes Wodumo that he must not mourn for her instead he must honour his by living the life that he knows for her.

Babes Wodumo stated that Maphintsha’s family knows this, and they are even the ones who transporte her to go and perform.
