Babes Wodumo’s Husband, Mampintsha, Remains In Mzansi’s Bad Books

Although Babes has forgiven him, Mampintsha is still having a hard time with being relevant as a musician. Unfortunately, he was cancelled by the public, forcing his career to hit rock bottom. To this day, Mzansi has not forgotten and has no intentions of forgiving him.

The duo are now married and have a son named Sponge Wodumo. They have clearly moved past Mampintsha’s heinous behaviour, however, Mzansi still want him to account for his actions.

Twitter folk woke up to Mampintsha trending with his hilarious videos, in which people were expressing how much they loved him and how funny they thought he was. But @011ChuckSheisty could not help but remind those who were celebrating him about his abusive ways. “All these threads on Mampintsha videos but they forgot this one. So think we should bring it back to remind people. Cause they seem to have forgotten,” he tweeted a video of Mampintsha hitting his wife, Babes.

@_Thepiskiss said “Babes forgave him, got married to him, they raising a beautiful child together, he made mistakes and learnt from them, we move.”

“This Mampintsha thing is just another reminder how much of a Joke Cancel culture is in South Africa especially when it comes to abusers. Not long ago South Africans were horrified of his actions and Today we’re laughing at his videos like everything is sweet? It’s weird for me,” said @RealLwazi.

The culture of celebrating people who do not deserve even the slightest recognition continues to grow rapidly because as South Africans, we are to scared to confront unacceptable behaviour. Instead, we tend to brush it off until it seems normal.
