Babes Wodumo visits her late boyfriend, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo. The late musician and the Gqom queen married and their union was blessed with a son, Sponge.

 

 

 
However, dark clouds emerged over them in December 2022 after Mampintsha died due to a stroke at the Durban hospital in which he was admitted.Babes Wodumo, whose real name is Bongekile Mildred Simelane shared a photo of herself at her late husband’s grave. She shared the photo shortly after her suicidal post went viral on social media.Bongekile recently wrote on her Instagram stories that she wishes to die, ““Engathi ngingafa.”

The post garnered various reactions; a majority urged her to keep pushing and to get help rather than kill herself.
