The self-proclaimed Gqom Queen, Babes Wodumo has taken her talent back to church, singing and getting the crowd going. Babes is also known as a pastors kid because her father is a pastor.

The star gave her followers a performance singing at her father Bishop Welcome Simelane,’s church yesterday on Sunday.
Sharing a video of her performance she also complained about her hair not being in a good state, her caption wrote “At church izolo kwamaphumulo kodwa izinwele zami guys.” It translates to “at church yesterday at the Maphumulo’s. My hair though guys.”
After sharing the video, her followers were applauding her for taking it to church however some people were not comfortable with her tight, cleavage showing dress, saying it was a bit disrespectful to wear at church.

In an interview with Afternoon Express two years ago she said she is a proud church girl who loves God. ” Babes Wodumo is a girl from the township…who loves God a lot…a person who loves to have a good time, I love having a good time, wherever people are having a good time I follow.

However, the two men in Babe’s life have buried the hatchet as her father was featured in Mampintsha’s music video. Fans were left in awe when they spotted Reverend Simelane in their collaborative music video Elamonti. The song features Babes and Professor and is shot in Lamontville, Durban
