In this time while the country is still mourning the death of kwaito star Mandla Maphumulo best known as Mampintsha, death has attacked again after the sad news of the passing of Mandla’s mother Zamanguni Gumede(66).

According to her grandaughter Zamaswazi Gumede, her grandmother had been sick but the illness got worse after the death of her son whom she loved so much.

 
‘She had been admitted at Wentworth hospital as her health condition wasn’t in a good state, we received a message calling us to rush to the hospital because she wanted to talk to us about something.

She said nothing much to us when we arrived but died at about 11pm on Sunday. We are very hurt and confused as we are still trying to heal the wounds that were created by uncle’s(Mampintsha) death.’ stated the heartbroken Zamaswazi Gumede.

Mampintsha’s wife Babes Wodumo also shared a picture with condolences message on WhatsApp.

‘Rest in peace to you, Sponge’s grandmother. Send a shout out to my husband. I love you.’ stated Babes Wodumo.
