Mampintsha, a well-loved artist in South Africa, was laid to rest yesterday, making yesterday one of the most difficult days for the people of that country. Mampintsha had been hospitalized after having a stroke prior to his passing a week ago. Some people were still in shock and didn’t believe that he had passed away until they saw him lying on his coffin yesterday. Until then, they had no idea that he had died. His funeral was one of the most expensive ones, and it was attended by a large number of people. The government has stepped up to the plate and offered to pay for fifty percent of all of the costs that will be incurred.
