Recent news coming from Maphumulo family are that Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha were supposed to get married this month, but all of this is impossible to happen since Mampintsha is no more.

The news of this cancelled white wedding were revealed by Pinky Gumede who is a sister to the late Mampintsha. She said they would’ve been busy planning and organising the wedding by now as it was set to take place in January.

‘We believe that we were going to be part of this wedding because we were told earlier about it. We didn’t knew anything about the traditional wedding that took place in 2020. My mother only heard two days before the event that Mandla is getting married. She kept shouting wanting to know why wasn’t she told about something so big that’s happening to her son.’

‘After she revealed that she is against what’s happening, they said they were just shooting one of the Showmax episodes of Babes and Mampintsha’s reality show. We were then left confused not knowing whether that was a real wedding or just a shooting session.’ stated Pinky.

Pinky also mentioned that this shooting session turned out to be a real wedding ceremony. She said they couldn’t even reach Mampintsha on this day because Babes Wodumo’s family members had his phone. They had no one else to contact and tell them about everything that was happening.

Pinky revealed that what gave them hope that they would’ve been part of the ceremony this time is because Mampintsha was the one who told them about it and also wanted them to be part of the planning and organising team.

Means of trying to reach Nondumiso Simelane to speak on behalf of Babes Wodumo failed, she never answered her phone nor respond to the messages sent to her.
