Ayanda Borotho is a South African beauty. We’ve seen her act on series like Wounds, Nqobile, and Nomzamo.
Her performance as Phumelele Zungu on Isibaya is her most remembered and made her a household celebrity. We’ve seen her in both comedy and drama, which is the mark of a brilliant performer. Ayanda is one of the most generous stars in this region of the world.
The KZN floods killed at least 448 people, but Ayanda isn’t delighted about one thing.
“I understand it. People are out there doing their part. KZN is in ruins. It’s a mess. “What we see in the media is nothing,” she wrote. “But can we simply stop posting the persons affected? Not the people. Neither are you. Neither are we. It’s about them.”
Ayanda concluded by writing, “Post your plans, food, and blankets. Women on grief beds, posing for photos, posting Imisamo where garments of their children and family members are put in memoriam. Why is that? Nenzani? What about dignity?”

Somizi recently posted a passionate video to his social media regarding the situation in KZN “The thought of someone else not having a pleasant morning made me sad. I couldn’t get away from the floods in KZN… I see it trending on Twitter, TikTok, and everyone is talking about it, so my concern is, are we doing something about it? Somizi.
“I want to do my part and I believe everyone watching right now is capable of doing something, the entire country can do something right now, today!” he exhorted his fans.
“I have clothing that can aid many people… and I have friends who can contribute much and I will push them to do so as well, this is very awful.”
“I’m going to confront Cassper, MamKhize, and Theo Baloyi from Bathu,” he concluded.”
