Zizi Kodwa calls on Springboks’ Rassie to coach Bafana Bafana

The Minister of Sport, Arts, and Culture, Zizi Kodwa openly admitted that he believed the South African national soccer team, Bafana Bafana would benefit positively if they were to be coached by the Springbok’s coach Rassie Erasmus as seen in an Instagram video shared recently — this comes after the Boks became the 2023 Rugby World Cup champions on Saturday, 28 October.


 

 

ZIZI KODWA ON RASSIE ERASMUS’ COACHING BAFANA BAFANA
The Springboks made history and became the fourth-time winners of the Rugby World Cup. This follows the South African national rugby team beating New Zealand 12-11 in the final tournament in Paris on Saturday. Ahead of the final, Sports Minister Zizi Kodwa flew out to Paris to support the Boks and was spotted in an airport in France with the one and only, Mama Joy. Shortly after his arrival, he was also seen rubbing shoulders with the Springboks during their practice session.

In a clip doing the rounds on social media, the Sports Minister shared his views on the differences he’s picked up after interacting with Bafana Bafana and the Springboks. “With Bafana Bafana, you need the mindset, you need the culture. Rugby is so cultured,” Kodwa said. “What do you do with Rassie after this? He must help us with Bafana Bafana man,” the Sports Minister said.

The Sports Minister boasted about having mingled with the Springboks in the changing rooms and expressed that he was left genuinely feeling inspired by coach Rassie Erasmus’ influence on the Boks. “How I wish I could get Bafana Bafana in the same room with the Boks. Just the spirit, the culture, the commitment to the sport, and the love of sport. Rassie for Bafana Bafana for me!” the Sports Minster added.

In other news, on Monday, 30 October, to honour the Springbok’s recent Rugby World Cup victory, South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa declared 15 December a public holiday.

“I know that many of us want to have a holiday now to celebrate. But we should all agree that we should give our matriculants time to focus on their exams and celebrate with them afterwards, otherwise, it will disrupt their ability to focus on their most important journey, which is writing their matriculation exams and this affects close on to a million young people,” EWN quoted Ramaphosa as saying.

Hofmeyr and son Devon HUNTING ANIMALS in 2024!

Controversial South African singer Steve Hofmeyr and his son (Devon) will be hunting South Africa’s animals in 2024.

According to a post on the artist’s Facebook page, the pair have planned a ‘father and son hunt’ for next year. Six pairs will join them to shoot two animals next year, says the competition page on ShowPass.

A bottle of Eendracht brandy is also part of the prize.

The singer is well-known for his comments against the LGBTQI+ community, which landed Hofmeyr in hot water with the South African Human Rights Commission.

Hofmeyr is also known for going on a drive to destroy DsTV decoders, after MultChoice distanced themselves from the singer.

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi wrote something he had been proud of on his left hand in the final.

The Springboks faced the All Blacks in the 2023 World Cup rugby final in Paris, and it was a tight match.

After winning, he [posted pictures showing his left hand, claiming that the God who made it in 2019 did it again.
