In real life she is dawn Thandeka king and she is 43 years old. Although she has appeared in many television shows she is better known for portraying Lindiwe AKA MaNgcobo on Uzalo.

Dawn Thandeka King had opened up about a lot of struggles in her life. She has previously explained how she suffered depression and how she ended up doing ukuthwasa. She was married to a Durban based businessman, Jabulani Msomi for a couple of years and they were blessed with five children namely Jadazia, Jaedon, Jayda, Jaydeen and Jaedo.
