Pabi Moloi ex Ruan Adams is suing her and Police Minister Bheki Cele

Media darling Pabi Moloi’s acrimonious separation from her estranged “husband” Ruan Adams has come back to punch holes in her pocket. Adams is suing Moloi and Police Minister Bheki Cele for R1-million for wrongful arrest. This after she got him nabbed by the police for allegedly violating the protection order she had obtained against him.Moloi, who presents Power Life on Power FM, is the first respondent in the suit while Cele is the second respondent. In the lawsuit that he filed in the Pretoria high court, Adams, who paid lobola for Moloi but broke up with her about three years ago, said on or about the seventh day of March this year, Moloi set the law in motion by opening an unfounded criminal case of the violation of a protection order at the Olievenhoutbosch police station against him. When laying the criminal charges and making a statement to members of the police, he said Moloi, who is arguably the richest black female celebrity in South Africa with six properties in Joburg’s leafy suburbs, identified him as the alleged perpetrator.

He said on the same day, Moloi, her mother and the police arrived at his home in the evening in a police vehicle. About four cops forcefully gained access into his home and wrongfully and unlawfully arrested and detained him at Olievenhoutbosch police station for six hours.

He said when he later appeared in the Pretoria magistrate’s court, the case did not proceed as there was no case against him“The first defendant opened an unfounded case of violating a protection order against the plaintiff, which case was not supported by any evidence and did not meet the required standards for the opening of a protection order violation case, which leads to arrest of the perpetrator.

“By the first defendant’s conducts of opening an unfounded case against the plaintiff, the first defendant violated the plaintiff’s constitutional rights and furthermore, by the arrest and further detainment, the police violated the plaintiff’s rights thereto.“The second defendant effected arrest without investigating the facts of the complaint lodged by the first defendant and or without properly analysing the evidence presented to them by the first defendant when setting the law in motion (sic),” read the papers.

Fan favourite’ – Where is Loyiso MacDonald now? –

With an illustrious career spanning years, award-winning actor Loyiso MacDonald has quickly become one of the most sought-after actors, but where is he now? No doubt he has wowed viewers with his unmatched acting flair over the years.

MacDonald is best known for his on-screen character of Kagiso Khoza on ‘The Queen.’ However, against his exit from the drama series, the celebrated actor has yet to feature in a big-budget project. In the backdrop of his exit, he surprised Mzansi with his on-screen character in Love, S** and 30 Candles. He stars as Winston in the Netflix series. Despite his fair share of fame, the actor has managed to keep his private life under wraps, leaving many to guess about his whereabouts. It’s been a while since Mzansi had a glimpse of the actor on small screens, leaving many concerned.Taking to X, formerly Twitter entertainment blogger Phil Mphela posted, “I miss Loyiso MacDonald (and his English accent) on screen.” The thread has since gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped.Against the post, the seasoned actor commented with a cryptic post. He posted, “Well, you know what they say about good things…?” No doubt his response set social media abuzz. The saying that good things take time or happen to those who wait implies that Loyiso might be cooking something big. It’s just a matter of time before it’s all out in the open. In that case, we all can’t wait.

Rapper Nadia Nakai is still trying to pick up the pieces after her boyfriend AKA’s passing earlier this year

Rapper Nadia Nakai is still trying to pick up the pieces after her boyfriend AKA’s passing earlier this year. Speaking to the media at a restaurant in Parkmore, a suburb in Johannesburg, the Naaa Meaan hitmaker said that she is still trying to heal from the pain of losing the award-winning rapper. AKA, real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, was brutally murdered along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane on 10 February outside a restaurant in Durban. The fact that something so tragic had happened, I felt so let down by God,” Sunday World reported her as saying. She continued: “I had never experienced anything like that ever, it was a shock to my system, because his funeral was the first funeral I ever attended.”Nadia said that she is still learning to heal as grief is new to her. I don’t know what the process to heal is, I don’t feel like I’ve healed. I don’t know what that looks like, because I’ve never done this before. I am learning as I grow, so I wouldn’t be able to advise anyone navigating grief.“I am still trying to find my way back to God and I feel like that is a story that needs to be told because a lot of people go through that. In September, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, gave an update about the ongoing investigation into AKA and Tibz’s murders.“The team has already started with more than 6 TB of data. We downloaded more than 25 cell phones as we speak, and the team is analysing every communication and data in those phones. It’s all from people of interest that might contain information. Cell phones of people who might have been in the area or might have communicated with the deceased. Or any other people associated with the deceased,” Mkhwanazi says.

“We as SAPS have identified a few individuals that maybe after discussing with the NPA, we might start bringing them in.”Mkhwanazi further explained that there were many people who were involved, many phone calls that were made during the night and a video footage of the incident that was made public.
