SkeemSaam Harriet Manamela deserves a special mention for her outstanding performance in the prison sequences. She’s one of the best actors I’ve ever seen. Send flowers to Harriet Manamela (Skeem Saam’s Meikie Maputla). She deserves them. What a talent you have as an actress. She’s absolutely crushing it in this role. Meikie is deserving of another shot. And I sincerely hope she avoids Mr. Maputla at all costs; he is solely to blame for her current predicament.

Viewers Left Sad After It Has Been Announced That Muvhango’s Favourite Granny Is Leaving The Show
One thing about South Africans is that they enjoy entertainment from their local television screens every single day. At certain times, many are tuned into their television screens watching the drama show that is playing at that time. One of the country’s favourite soapies that has been playing for 25 years now, and is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary since it has been broadcast on the sabc 2 channel is Muvhango.

Muvhango is a drama soapie that takes place in two provinces: Gauteng as well as Limpopo and Venda. The television soapie is initially known as a Venda drama because the majority of the cast members are Venda, and it is one of the first shows that has given representation to the beautiful Venda language, culture, and its people. The show has also been one show that has given first timers an opportunity to show their craft, and from then on, they have grown to bigger and much better platforms, but Muvhango has been a door opener for them and helped them become better performers.

Elsie Rasalanavho, who plays the character Mukondeleni, is sadly leaving Muvhango, and she has given thanks to the producers and her colleagues. Mama Elsie, who is a teacher by profession as well, stated that she will miss everyone she has worked with. Mukondeleni will be dearly missed on the show and for her amazing acting skills. She remembered how difficult it was at times to act during the weekend and teach during the weekdays, but she managed.

In just a matter of a year since the ANC minister Jackson Mthembu passed away on January last year due to Covid-19 related complications, now his wife, Thembi Mthembu has followed him.

The Mthembu family confirmed that their bride died on Thursday morning in a Pretoria hospital.

Thembi was ill for quite some time and the family said they will issue a statement on her passing in due course.
