Minnie Dlamini toasted finalizing her divorce from Quinton Jones with a se.ductive image and announced her name change on Instagram. The popular actress explained that the wonderful news was a Valentine’s Day gift for herself.

South Africans on social media have been questioning the state of Minnie Dlamini’s divorce since the announcement that almost broke the internet. The star has been sharing cryptic messages on her timeline and even hinted that a custody battle was going on for their son.On February 15, 2024, the Honeymoon star said on her Instagram page that she was happy to have her name back. She added that the announcement was a Valentine’s Day present to herself. She penned:

“Roses are red. My lingerie is blue. Home Affairs did the things. It’s Minenhle DLAMINI to you PS. My Valentine’s present to my self ”Mixed replies were poured into the star’s comments area by social media users, including other celebrities. While some praised her for completing her divorce, others made comments about how attractive she was.

Minnie Dlamini recently posted a brief video in which she expressed her opinions about Valentine’s Day. The celebrity claimed that because she is preoccupied with business, she will not be commemorating the special day for lovers this year.

In the midst of her Miss World campaign in 1972, she scored big when she landed a role on tiny screens. It appears that she not only landed a job, but also made history as the first black person to appear in a major project. She appeared in the film Udeliwe.

A few years later, she joined the Shaka Zulu ensemble, playing Mkabi in the five-part mini-series. Undoubtedly, her great career was crowned with laurels. She is a seasoned actress who has received the prestigious Golden Horn Award for both her performance and her lifetime achievement. Shange has undoubtedly become one of Mzansi’s most beloved golden oldies.

Wiseman Mncube is a South African actor, playwright, and director best known for his starring role as Mfanufikile in the e.tv drama series The Kingdom (uKhakhayi). Congolese singer, Tresor acquires R100 million firm in SA

Tresor announced the launching of the fully self-funded firm with an immediate cash injection of R100 million.

Entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela reports that musician, Tresor has bought a state-of-the-art luxury farm in Gauteng.


 

“The sprawling 500-acre farm is nestled in the Cradle of Humankind and was christened GOMA, paying homage to Mukengerwa Tresor Riziki’s hometown,” adds Mphela.

The Congolese singer and songwriter acquired a R100 million Jacquel Ventures investment in November 2023.

The estate will build restaurants, an outdoor amphitheater, a recording studio, an art and exhibition gallery, a designer boutique hotel and few venues for special occasions.

The musician’s goal is to also build generational wealth for himself and for “the African child that dares to do”.

TRESOR CONFIRMS MULTIMILLION DEAL
IOL confirmed in November 2023 that the Congolese-South African pop star Tresor announced the launch of his R100 million Jacquel Ventures investment firm.

The singer revealed in a statement: “Jacquel Ventures has been a long-life dream. I have dedicated most of my life to music and it has changed my life beyond my wildest dreams. Be ready for all that I am, unapologetically, and in the loudest form.”

He added that it has been his primary creative outlet, and also confessed his deep love for fashion, film, architecture, interior design, and entrepreneurship.

The publication added that the new firm will see the songwriter putting his money where his mouth is as he seeks to build and invest in luxury goods etc.
