Jacob Zuma’s daughter slammed for disrespecting the Zulu king

The daughter of former South African President Jacob Zuma was chastised on social media for disrespecting the new Zulu king, Misuzulu. Dudu Zuma is no stranger to squabbles, and this isn’t the first time she’s been dragged into one.

During the South African looting, Dudu rose to prominence by defending the looters and criticizing Cyril Ramaphosa. She has made it clear that she would do anything for attention and to keep his father free. He has not yet been arrested for her actions and statements during the looting period, but it appears she has grown too confident and arrogant in criticizing the Zulu king.

“I adore my Zulu Monarch, but this king we have is a liability. My spirit is unsettled” she said.

As the King’s Coronation is taking place today, Twitter users brought her tweets to light. They reminded the nation of Dudu’s criticism of the Zulu King, and Twitter users began to attack her.

Opinion:By being the sole queen present at the King Misuzulu ceremony, Queen Nomafu proved loyalty

The fact that Queen Nomafu was the sole queen present at the Monarch Misuzulu ceremony demonstrated her sincerity and devotion to the late king.

Something very important came out of the union between the late King Zwelithini and Queen Mantfombi Dlamini, the mother of King Misizulu, the Zulu king.

The Queen went to eSwatini to find the late King’s wife and told him that he needed to take the youngest woman available.

It is obvious that the two women were aware that other wives disliked Queen Mantfombi Dlamini and Her Children and that, in the event of their deaths, their children would face hardship, be subjected to harsh treatment, or be left alone..

This simply means that the other wives of the late King were never loyal to him and never supported his marriage to the late Queen Mantfombi Dlamini. This was revealed yesterday because none of the other wives of the late King’s wives showed up for the ceremony yesterday; only Queen Zola Zelusiwe Mafu did.

If you read Queen Zola Zelusiwe Mafu’s memoir, you’ll agree with me that the late King and Queen Mantfombi Dlamini were aware of everything that was happening yesterday and had made preparations for it.

Prior to her marriage to the late King Zwelithini, Queen Zola Zelusiwe Mafu wathwalwa, or whisked away from a farm by the late Queen Mantfombi Dlamini, lived with the late Queen for ten years in Kwakhangela Palace.

In other words, Queen Zola Zelusiwe Mafu was trained to take care of the heir, his three brothers, and sister, and yesterday she fulfilled that role. She was also the only mother of the King, his brothers, and sister who attended yesterday’s ceremony.

While Queen Zola Zelusiwe Mafu demonstrated what loyalty is—that you don’t just show loyalty when the people you claim to love are still alive, but you also show loyalty in death—Queen Mantfombi Dlamini demonstrates that she was a very strong wife, very intelligent, and very useful to the King and the Zulu Nation.

Again, the event from yesterday highlighted all sides of polygamy. My biggest conviction—that people consent to polygamy for monetary gain and social status—is confirmed by this.

People do not consent to enter into polygamous marriages out of true love, but rather for entirely the wrong motives, particularly in our nation.

Once further proving their loyalty to our late King and the Zulu people, the Swazi women outwitted our local women in this instance.

The late Queen Mantfombi Dlamini and the late Queen Zola Zelusiwe Mafu saw to it that they carried out their duties and produced a King for our late King and the Zulu people.

They were assigned with completing this objective, which they did admirably. The late King Zwelithini and the late Queen Mantfombi Dlamini did, in fact, love the Zulu nation and were devoted to the kingdom.

Zulu Royals fail to block King Misuzulu’s sacred ritual- THIS HAPPENED

The Pietermaritzburg High Court has struck off the roll an interdict to block King Misuzulu kaZwelithini’s sacred Kraal ritual in KwaNongoma in Northern Zululand.

Unfazed by these attempts to sabotage the ceremony, thousands of Zulus flocked to KwaKhangelamankengana Palace and brought the town of KwaNongoma to a standstill.

The event started in the early hours of Saturday morning when His Majesty led amabutho (Zulu warriors) with the backing of his praise singer Buzetsheni Mdletshe.

Cameras and the media were not allowed into the Kraal during the one-hour long sacred Kraal ritual at 1am on Saturday.

On Saturday morning the program was opened to the public.

The sacred kraal ceremony resembled an official coronation as thousands showed support to the new king.

Three big marquees provided shelter to Amakhosi from different provinces, political leaders and business leaders who were part of the historic event which was last seen when the late King Goodwill Zwelithini KaBhekuzulu was appointed to take the throne in 1971.

About 26 cattle were slaughtered to feed the guests while maidens and amabutho entertained in song and dance.

A heavy police presence including a police chopper monitored the activities amid concerns for the safety of the king whose crown continues to be contested by two of his brothers.

Last week, a faction of the family declared Prince Simakade Jackson kaZwelithini the rightful heir to the throne but just a few dozen people attended his entrance to the kraal.

Prince Simakade is the son of King Zwelithini and his teenage lover Gugu Mthenjana.

On Thursday, Prince Mboniso, a brother to King Zwelithini KaBhekuzulu, announced Prince Buzabazi from kwaDlamahlahla Royal Palace as a contender to the throne.

He is the third son of King Zwelithini and Queen Buhle kaMathe.

At the heart of the battle to lead the 15-million-strong Zulu Nation is an estate estimated at over R350 million.

The King earns a R1.2 million a year salary and also receives a R67 million annual budget for the general upkeep of the Zulu Royal Household.

The second leg of the ceremony of entering the kraal got underway on Saturday afternoon.

Congratulations are in order to King Misuzulu kaZwelithini on his new role as AmaZulu leader. Finally Misuzulu kaZwelithini is our new King of Zulu Land who is sitting on the throne with only one certificate.

For the first time the history has been made In Zulu Land as the Zulu King’s coronation took place this weekend in Nongoma where they welcomed the new era under the leadershio and throne of iSilo Samabandla on KwaZulu-Natal.

After hours of performing rituals inside the sacred royal kraal, King Misuzulu KaZwelithini has finally come out of the krall fully dressed as the new King. He has now been set fully on the throne as the new King.

It has not been a easy road for King Misuzulu after the Family took each other to court because of the throne. King Misuzulu has been fighting with other family members. Not long ago he was making headlines after it was revealed that other people from his family does not support him. They said they support Prince Simakade instead of him.

In the recent article it was said that he has only support from President Cyril Ramaphosa and Prince Buthelezi. The ceremony has been successful as he is the new official King Misuzulu KaZwelithini. The throne and the clothes that he wears suit him perfectly. It will take time before everyone including his family who were opposing him get used to the fact that he is a King.

It is a great day for Zulu people today. The day has been well organised by fancy ceremony where women, girls and Kings are dancing with confidence for the culture. It’s good to see there are still those who still honour their culture and history like them.
