Oratile Maitisa’s profile: portraying Eunice in the well-known TV series #SkeemSaam – Let’s Discover her Net Worth, Age, Education, Career, and LifestyleShe plays the role of Eunice in the SABC1 soapie. Actress Oratile Maitisa has commenced on her journey as a sangoma.

Skeem Saam actress Oratile Maitisa, who plays the role of Eunice, has accepted her spiritual calling to become a sangoma, and the star told TshisaLIVE she is more than ready to embark on this journey.

Skeem saam is a South African soapie opera which is aired on SABC1 every week days. This is a soapie which broadcasts in Sepedi, siZulu and Siswati. It is mostly dominated by Pedi’s because it is happening in Limpopo.

Eunice is portrayed as a very sweet, loving, caring and kind person. She is a friend to Pretty who has been through a lot and we’ve seen Eunice present in those hard times or rough patches that Pretty has been through.

Eunice herself has lost her boyfriend not so long, the boyfriend’s name was Fannie Maseremula who was murdered or killed by Lehasa for being on his bad side.

Fannie had so many secrets on Lehasa who happened to be his boss, so Lehasa was threatened that he would tell the police everything about him after he denied to give him shares at Cafe Rovuwa.

Eunice is also in danger now with Emkay her boyfriend’s friend, they took the hard drive that has all the secrets about Lehasa and his family to Peterson who is a detective.

Peterson has been looking for something that would keep Lehasa behind bars and finally he has everything on his hands.

She attended her primary at MP Malatjie Primary School, in Seshego Zone 8, she then wen to Capricorn High School in Polokwane and completed her high school in 2016.

Happy birthday to Skeem Saam actress Eunice ‘Oratile Maitisa’

She is that star actress we love to hate. No doubt the bubbly actress has been making all sorts of headlines of late. Oratile Maitisa is a celebrated fast-rising South African actress who stars as Eunice Nkadimeng on SABC1’s drama series Skeem Saam. She is that star actress we love to hate. We can all agree she is nailing her on-screen character. She made her debut on Skeem Saam back then in 2010 and wowed Mzansi with her unmatched flair. However, the actress has fast become one of the big names on the drama series despite joining the show as a supporting cast.

However, she made all sorts of headlines in 2013 in the second season of the drama series. From there, she has been winning big. Apart from acting, she doubles as a singer and dancer. Mzansi has been wondering how old she could be in the backdrop of her viral pictures that have seen her trending. No lie, the showrunners played us. The bubbly actress was born on March 1, 1999, in Seshego Zone 1, Polokwane, Limpopo. She looks younger than her on-screen character. Of interest is that the actress was thrust into the limelight before she even matriculated in 2016.

In 2005, she started school at MP Malatjie Primary School, which is in Seshego Zone 8. She attended Capricorn High School in Polokwane later on and completed her high school in 2016.Her mother, Mmatebu, was a teacher who also ran a sewing business, but she retired from teaching because of her diabetic condition. Oratile has an elder brother, Lesedi. Her mother and brother are 57 years and 38 years old, respectively, as of 2024. They are her inspiration.

She revealed that she had plans to study industrial psychology, but after playing Eunice on Skeem Saam, she changed her mind. She also mentioned that she desired to get her acting degree first before the industrial psychology degree because she wanted to take up acting as her full-time career. She also wanted to attend Africa Film, Drama, and Art (AFDA) School to study for a Bachelor of Arts degree in live performance.

In the mix of things, her take-home salary was implicated in the equation for how much she earns from the drama series. We can all agree that actors’ salaries are determined by time on scene, experience, and role prominence. The bubbly actress gets around R30,000 per month for her on-screen character.
