Amstel tells ZiMoja that he has always loved cooking and his family has always been in the culinary industry. “My family has been in the catering and decor business for more than 20 years, so this is second nature to me. It was a matter of time before I joined them,” he says. “From a very young age, I spent a lot of time watching my mother cook and bake, but my interest was more in baking.”

But he confesses that he can never choose between music and food. “The two go hand in hand.I will never choose; I love both equally,” he says.
