skeem saam: thobakgale’s new man kganyago is a scammer

According to the Skeem Saam TVSA November teasers, Jacobeth Thobakgale’s new man Ntate Kganyago may not be who he claims to be… a financially secure professor with a daughter in Ireland. He doesn’t want Lizzy to distrust him because he saved her from Luc, the scammer at Turfloop Hospital.

Skeem Saam’s Ntate Kganyago and Jacobeth Thobakgale’s (Elizabeth Serunye) daughter Lizzy will not get along when he convinces her mother to resign from her job at Turf High and she moves out of her mother’s house at the end of November.

It appears that Ntate Kganyago, like Luc (Jean-Michel Tuji Mukengeshayi), was planning to seduce Thobakgale from the start in order to obtain her retirement funds.

Kganyago is emotionally intelligent and knows how to manipulate women… He’ll make the former Turf High principal vulnerable by announcing his departure from Turfloop.

He’ll get rid of Lizzy so he can have her all to himself and get what he wants… her money.

The Tuesday 1 November teaser reads:
“Ntate Kganyago brings sad news for Jacobeth.”

The Wednesday 2 November teaser reads:
“Jacobeth has to find a way to stop love from escaping her.”

Kganyago will eventually move into Thobakgale’s house, making Lizzy uneasy… This reveals that he lacks his own money and wants to rely on Thobakgale, who is desperate for love.

The Tuesday 8 November teaser reads:
“Jacobeth extends an invitation to Ntate Kganyago that makes Elizabeth very uncomfortable.”

Monday 21 November:
“Ntate Kganyago and Elizabeth are at loggerheads regarding their new living arrangement.”

Diep City Actress Zikhona Bali (Asanda) Exits The Show

Zikhona Bali, who plays Pastor Charleston’s girlfriend Asanda in DiepCity, will leave the show in December before it wraps up in March.

Zikhona Bali, who appeared in DiepCity two years ago as Pastor Charleston’s (Chrispen Nyathi) girlfriend Asanda, tells Sowetan:

“If it were up to me, I wouldn’t be leaving DiepCity and a character I grew to love. But I understand that it’s the end of the road for Asanda much like all storylines. I’ve never played the role of a pastor’s side chick who’s a criminal; with that role, I had to navigate my feelings on how best to execute Asanda to viewers as authentic as possible. Asanda is dearly loved by those around her because at first, she seemed sweet and angelic only to turn out the exact opposite.”

Her character is currently struggling with drug addiction and becomes involved in shady dealings with Charleston.

“She gets caught up in the land of dodgy dealings with her pastor boyfriend and battling drug addiction… how she’ll exit the show will certainly shake viewers. I’ve loved acting on the set, I’ve loved the people I worked with on the show and playing Asanda, but now I have to step away and find Zikhona again.”

In an August interview with the Daily Sun, Black Brain Pictures confirmed that the telenovela will not return for a third season when its second season concludes in March 2023.
