After nine years being on screen,Nomvelo Makhanya bid farewell to eTV popular soap, Scandal.

Thursday, the 10th of November was the sad day for Scandal viewers as they watched their favourite character, Lindiwe Ngema taking her last breath.

Lindiwe’s death comes after she got pregnant with he first child and later on diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension. This condition had required that she makes a decision either to terminate her pregnancy or remain pregnant, which places her life at risk.

She then chose to save the life of her unborn baby and and shortly after she gave birth, her health deteriorated which ended up in her death in her mother’s arms.

She started her journey on Scandal as a Grade 16 year-old – grade 10 learner.

Few months back it was reported that Nomvelo has decided to quit acting as she wanted to focus on her relationship with her boyfriend.

Viewers of Scandal were sad as they watched her death.

Nomvelo grew in the story and still remained one of the few actors who are still with the soap after many years.
