‘RHOA’ star Kandi Burruss attempts to do the ‘Mnike’ challenge

On Friday 21 July, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss posted a video of herself attempting to do Tyler ICU’s Mnike dance challenge.Since its introduction into mainstream media, Amapiano has taken South Africa and the world by storm. So much so that many people across the world have taken an interest in the South African genre.

Kandi Burruss who is also an award winning singer, songwriter and producer becomes the latest artist to jump on the Amapiano bandwagon. During a dance session the singer together with professional dancer Anthony Marquis attempted to do the viral Mnike dance challenge that has been trending on Tik Tok.

In the first clip Kandi and Anthony explain that they are about to do the Mnike Challenge.

“So Anthony is about to try to attempt to teach me the M-Nike challenge”, Kandi says.

Anthony then proceeds to teach Kandi the steps to the challenge. Now they may have aced the choreography, but the duo completely messed up the pronunciation of the challenge title. South Africans wasted no time to the comment section of Kandi’s post to correct the reality tv star’s friend how to correctly pronounce Mnike.

After much trial-and-error Kandi finally posted another video detailing the end result, where the artist nailed the entire dance challenge.

“Ok! I think practicing with Anthony helped me get a little better! What do you think?”, Kandi shared leaving many South African’s impressed.

A few days ago American rapper, Wiz Khalifa was also seen listening to and singing along to Tyler ICU’s Mnike.

Baby mama, Sithelo Shozi finally kisses and make up with Andile Mpisane after a long time of war

Popular Mzansi influencer and DJ, Sithelo Shozi has hinted that the drama with her ex-boyfriend’s family, the Mpisanes is over. She shared a birthday tribute to her lastborn daughter Coco Likuwe, who turned two years old on Friday, 21 July.

But it was her subtle acknowledgment of her baby daddy that had her Instagram followers surprised.


 

 

 

 

 

 

Sithelo and Andile Mpisane share two daughters: Florence and Coco. Andile has a third daughter – Miaandy – with wife Tamia Mpisane.

In an Instagram post, Sithelo Shozi shared a birthday post to little Coco.She shared alongside snaps of the tiny toddler: “God’s grace and goodness I saw through you. I love you and never get enough of you”.

Surprisingly, Sithelo then referred to Coco as “MaMpisane,” acknowledging the child’s paternal side.Sithelo’s sweet Instagram post comes a little over a year after she claimed in court papers that her ex demanded a test to “prove” he was the father.

If that wasn’t bad enough, Sithelo also accused the budding Amapiano star in a series of social media posts of physically abusing her throughout their relationship. She later applied for a protection order against him.

Not long after, a copy of a protection order by Andile against ex-Sithelo accusing her of being “violent and aggressive” went viral.

Meanwhile, both Andile Mpisane and his mother Shauwn Mkhize, aka MaMkhize, posted birthday tributes for Coco’s birthday.

The Royal AM chairman shared: “The day you were born was the greatest moment of my life. I am so grateful that I have a daughter as beautiful and intelligent as you…Daddy loves you”.

MaMkhize added in her own post to Coco: “She shared: “You may be small in size, but your personality radiates like a shining star…..You warm our lives with that infectious smile and innocent curiosity.”

‘Girl, NO!’: Sorisha Naidoo mocked over Barbie movie look

Like many celebrities, Real Housewives of Durban star Sorisha Naidoo was out painting the town pink at the VIP premier of the movie Barbie, now out in cinemas.

Cassper Nyovest pays R130 000 for friend’s urgent surgery

In a video shared on Instagram on Thursday, 20 July, Solomon More got candid about how his friend of over 20 years, South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest paid a large amount of money for his surgery in the spare of the moment.

Solomon More aka Carpo More and his friend, rapper Cassper Nyovest—real name Refiloe Maele Phoolo had netizens calling them “brothers” after hearing about the lengths the Mama I Made It hitmaker went to save his friend’s life.

In the video, More shared a heartwarming story about Cassper Nyovest’s generosity. He said the rapper coughed out R130 000 to pay for a surgery that he urgently needed.
