AKA’s nearest and dearest – including Nadia Nakai, Don Design, and Sim Dope were seen out partying just days after police confirmed that they knew the identities of the suspects who shot and killed the hitmaker, real name Kiernan Forbes.

Last week, KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhanhla Mkhwanazi confirmed that a team of investigators were making significant progress in the murder investigation of AKA and Tebello.

This included news that they had identified the suspects who shot and killed the pair.Speaking to eNCA, Mkhwanazi added that a list of possible suspects was also “growing.”

When asked when arrests would be made, Mkhwanazi said: “Well, we can go tomorrow. But do we want to go to court tomorrow with a half-baked case?

“No. We don’t want to go to court because of the few arrests that we’ve effected. Now we will just leave them and say, you know what, we’ll take someone and charge that person for another crime and keep him in custody, but we know that he is part of this case that we are investigating.”

He added: “I can give an assurance to South Africans that we are doing our level best and the picture is really matching. We are solving a 1000-piece [puzzle], and we are trying to get the shape together. It is quite a lot of work.”

SIM DOPE, NADIA, AND DON POP BOTTLES
Meanwhile, AKA’s closest friends were seen out partying together at Johannesburg’s La Parada over the weekend.

This included his girlfriend Nadia Nakai and close friends Don Design and Simphiwe Gumede, also known as Sim Dope.

In pics and clips posted on their Instagram Stories, the group of friends are seen smoking hookah and downing shots of Don Julio tequila, which is priced at over R1000 per bottle.

Nadia was later spotted partying with more of AKA’s friends, including Da LES and L-Tido.
