As Malema Was Gifting The Bapedi Queen With a Car, People Noticed Something

If there’s one thing we can say for economic Freeform fighters like Julius Malema, it’s that they take care of our traditional leaders like nobody else. Each year, people make a big deal out of throwing a party or giving a present to a different traditional leader as a way to show their gratitude for their guidance. This is one reason why EFF is so popular among Pedi and Zulu traditional leaders.

Yesterday, Julius Malema celebrated his birthday with a classy event that paid tribute to one of the most well-respected bapedi traditional leaders. The Bapedi Queen, Her Majesty Manyaku Thulare, had her birthday yesterday, and in honor of the occasion, we held a celebration. The CIC received traditional Bapedi clothing as a blessing from the Queen, who so confirmed his status as a member of the Bapedi Nation. She couldn’t have been more thrilled with her present—a shiny new Range Rover.

Some attendees were unhappy when they saw Mbiti Semi Ndlozi shooing people away with dogs during the handover ceremony so that Malema could get a good photo of himself with Queen Nomvula. Ndlozi was seen whisking and pushing people aside in an effort to keep them out of the way of the handover. Several were angry about his treatment of the folks he was shooing away, and they have suggested that he show more deference in his interactions with them.

CIC has proven himself to be an honorable and trustworthy leader in my eyes. Traditional authorities still hold the keys to our past and hold the keys to our future. They should be respected always. What ndlozi did was perfectly acceptable in my book. I don’t blame him; people were getting too close to the automobile and the camera, causing damage to the property. Please continue to care for our traditional leaders and please express our gratitude to other tribes as well as I congratulate the queen on her new horse and give a big up to the economic freedom fighters.
