Sometime last year, it was all over the news that South African musician and actor Anga Makhubalo who is popularly known as NaakMusiq was dating actress Nandi Mbatha.

It looks like things did not end well as it was alleged that NaakMusiq was not treating Nandi Mbatha the right way to a point that she even has depression. It was also alleged that he kicked her out on the streets.

Anga has finally come out to tell his side of the story on what happened in a recent interview with MacG on his YouTube podcast called Podcast and Chill with MacG.

“I did not date Nandi. To be honest, it was during the lockdown and we were working on a campaign together. We were shooting a lot of content here so she was at my house a lot of times”, said Anga.

“We have all had girlfriends in the past, and it did not work out”, Anga continued.

Based on Anga’s response, it seems like they did date or wanted to, but it was not something that became a serious thing.
