Anele is passionate about making sure everyone is treated equally and fairly. especially when it comes to domestic help. In June this year, she was outraged at a domestic help advert that only paid R2 500 per month, well-below minimum wage.
“Hayi andazi, who is this 33-year-old that must earn R2 500 a month. We have to come to terms with the fact that we can’t afford full-time nannies. This is evil,” she wrote.”
Many fans took to the comments to praise Anele for showing kindness towards Flo, and affording her a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. When one fan said Flo was very lucky, Anele simply replied and said: Flo works very hard. There is no luck here.”
