Miss SA judge and former SABC3’s 3Talk With Anele’s host has landed another TV show gig on DSTV’s upcoming channel, HONEY which is beginning on February 15th, on channel 173.

According to Multichoice, the upcoming channel, HONEY is a Pan-African lifestyle channel and dedicated purely to storytelling African stories.Mdoda’s upcoming talk show which is titled The Buzz is an African version of The View in the United States of America as she’ll be sharing the stage with four other women from four African countries. Her co-hosts include: Pearl Umeh from Nigeria, Rachel Wakesho from Kenya, Zanna Katoka from the DRC, and Davina Mavuwa from Zimbabwe.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela confirmed the news in a tweet:

But not tweeps were happy for her:

“Not a good move. Anele is good but she is not a talk host. She replaced Noleen and the ratings were a horror show. South Africa is just doesn’t have that perfect talk show host. I don’t think. This show will not last.”

Mdoda who’s constantly being bullied on Twitter for shading Kelly Rowland in a tweet, left TV two years ago when she resigned from 3Talk with Anele. Then in a plot twist, the 947 Breakfast host shocked Mzansi when she broke the news on her radio show that she’s landed her dream job on The Voice SA after resigning from 3Talk with Anele, two years ago.
In a since now deleted tweet, Mdoda tweeted: “Kelly Rowland only looks amazing with makeup and added that she had receipts”. The Beyonce Stan then went on to share a picture of Rowland with and without makeup. Her comments did not sit well with social media users and she’s been trolled annually since..
