Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela has revealed that Anele with be joining Supersport as a co-host on a show titled Super Saturday. She will be alongside with the forever stunning Ayanda Thabethe, Neil Andrews, Thato Moeng and Motshidisi Mahono. It’s expected to premier in July on their Dstv bouquet. The first show will be filmed live at Durban July.

As always, people have been complaining about the gatekeeper tendencies that have been getting out of hand in the entertainment industry. Production houses are no longer scouting for authentic talent, they are chasing after the numbers which later on affect their reputation and viewership. Is Anele Mdoda a good fit for a Sport show? I’m not so sure about it. She is definitely good at presenting but sports requires more than just that.
