Andile Ncube is a veteran in the sportscasting industry and has done it all in terms of broadcast. The multi talented Presenter, Producer and Musician is an icon in the space and is easily one of the most recognizable by fans. He took to social media to share his thoughts after the passing of his former co-host at SABC 1 and a man he worked closely with on the show ‘411’. This was clearly a sad moment for him as he penned a heartfelt message to the late legend.
He shared that his is saddened by the news as the last of his former 411 co-hosts. This is obviously a result of the other two which were David Kekana and Mzi Mgebise passed away in 2017 and 2019 respectively. This is truly a loss for football as the community mourns a student and lover of the game. Many South Africans will remember him for his presence during the mid 2010s on this show.
Once upon a time I hosted a show called #Soccer411 with some of the best football brains in this country
Mzi Mgebise who passed in 2017
David Kekana who passed in 2019
And today is a sore hearted RIP to the last man standing, Malume Coudjoe Amankwaa. RIP Old friend
