Andile Jali showed off his large cattle herd in Matatiela

Mamelodi Sundowns captain Andile Jali who is one of the upper echelons in the football fraternity in South Africa is more than a footballer.

The product of the Matatiela Professionals who is no longer a youngster in terms of football standards is an aspiring livestock farmer.

During the current off season without any football activities in DStv Premiership due to the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the Mamelodi Sundowns jersey 15 decided to recharge his batteries in Matatiela by spending time with his family and his animals.

The 32 year old Matatiela born footballer has been documenting his stay in the Eastern Cape province through visuals on his official social media account.

What’s the story?

On Sunday, “AJ” or “Mhlekazi” as he is affectionately known as took to his Instagram stories where he shared a photo where he decided to show off his large cattle herd which were captured grazing on the fields.

From the shared photo on the popular platform, it appears as if Andile Jali owns more than ten cattle. As part of his caption, the Mamelodi Sundowns box to box midfielder wrote, “life”, followed by a series of celebratory emojis.

According to his player profile on 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘵, the 2021/22 DStv Premiership Midfielder of the Season award winner made 10 appearances in all competitions in the colours of the Chloorkop based outfit and in turn he accumulated 682 game time minutes.
