I think one of the most embarrassing experiences that could ever happen to anyone is being rejected publicly after you go down on your knee to propose to the one you believe you are in love with.

This was the case in an image that has gone viral after the lady seemingly rejected the proposal in the presence of a huge gathering. Some have pointed out that the guy was wrong to do something like that before even communicating with the lady.

 

Most of the comments that were brought about by this incident were completely negative as most of them suggested it was wrong to propose in public. I must say the debate was heated as you will see below in the comments section. 

A good friend of mine recently proposed to his long-time girlfriend. Before he did it, I got the scoop on how he planned to pop the big question , and even got a look at the beautiful ring he’d purchased. But as we spoke, one important question came up: “Oh man, what if she says ‘no’?”.

It is perfectly okay to have a “gut feeling” that the marriage would not be successful and simply go on that. However, it is even better to be clear to yourself what your concerns are. Maybe in this scenario in the picture it would have been better for the gentleman to discuss his intentions with his partner first before doing something grand or spectacular.
