Amanda hospitalised after surgery

Earlier on in the year Amanda had fans a bit worried after sharing that she had been

hospitalised in Turkey. The actress had not been in the country for a while and spending a lot of time in Turkey. She then shared on

 

Instagram that she had been hospitalised following a surgery.

Amanda revealed that all the exercise and training she has been doing had resulted in the loss of fat tissue and she gained muscle. One of the outcomes is that she lost some breast tissue, which made her feel

insecure. So she chose to get surgery to help get her confidence back!

Amanda and Jub Jub

Drama between Amanda and her ex Jub Jub started in 2021 and spilled over into 2022. Amanda made

headlines after it was reported that she had opened a a criminal case of rape against Jub Jub. Amanda made allegations against Jub Jub stating that she had been raped for 2-years by the

Moja Love TV presenter. According to SowetanLive the case against Jub Jub was opened at the Braxton police station on 10 February 2022.

“I met with him [Maarohanye], and asked him if he knew or acknowledged that he had raped me. He said yes. I asked him why he raped me and all he could say was that he was sorry,” Du-Pont stated in her statement.

Amanda rekindles old flame

Amanda and her ex Cassper Nyovest sparked rumours that they had rekindled their old flame after being spotted having a good time together in a

nightclub in Pretoria. Before this another rumour had made it to social media claiming that Amanda and her

husband Shawn Rodriques had split. Social media detectives had also observed that the couple no longer post each other on social media and that Amanda was reportedly longer wearing her ring.

Hence a video of Amanda and Cassper looking rather cozy was sure to cause a lot of social media frenzy.

Amanda stays flourishing

Despite having quite a hectic year, its not all doom and gloom for the actress. Amanda has been rising above all that has come against her this year and

flourishing whilst at it. The media personality revealed that she is learning and growing in business and her growth is evident. Amanda is
