The Bible says “one day death shall be no more, and there will be an everlasting life.” Although we ought to trust in the Lord and his promises, it hurts so bad to see people dying. Death continues to take those we care about the most.Nowadays it’s even worse; we wake up every day to see a “Rest in Peace” message. What is even worse is that those who are good and kindhearted are the ones dying first. It is true that death is cruel and hits where it hurts most.

Mzanzi is saddened by the death of another celebrity yet again. Big Brother Mzansi housemate Rethabile Potsane, affectionately known as Dinky Bliss, has reportedly passed on at the age of 29. According to rumors and speculations, she committed suicide; however, the family hasn’t confirmed if it was really suicide. People are just speculating because her life has been hard and she has been going through depression.

Before she died, she once made a video crying that she was in pain; on that video, she was explaining how hard her life is and that she’s always crying because she barely sleeps at night. She didn’t disclose what the problem was; she just said she’s in pain and she can’t tell people where the pain is coming from. She broke down in a very painful way. Further more, she said she can’t kill herself because she has a baby, but she feels like she’s dangerous to herself. It was unfortunate that people took that video for granted until yesterday, when they heard that she passed away.

According to reports, Dinky was going through a depressive phase. Being a depressed black child is hard because our parents and fellow Africans don’t understand depression. When you speak out, they judge you and call you dramatic. In my opinion, there should be more awareness of depression because many people, including Ricky, are dying as a result of it.Rick displayed numerous signs of depression, but no one paid attention to him until he died.May her soul eat in peace.
