Radio presenter Tbo Touch has finally spoken out on the passing of his co-host radio personality Pearl Shongwe.
Touch who hosted his show the Touchdown with the deceased on Metro FM posted a video of American Bishop Noel Jones passing his condolences to the Shongwe Family.
The Bishop was praising the radio presenter for her charisma and dedication in the job.
He said, “It is so painful for us to have lost such a wonderful and beautiful soul in such a sudden kind of way. It is so heart-rending because the gift and the talent that this lady possessed were way above average, she was par excellence in the things that she did.”
“And I want to say to those who love her so much and loved her so much to please remember all the beautiful and wonderful things that she represented … All of what she could have become … Rest In Peace Pearl Shongwe,” he concluded.
Speaking about Pearl’s death Tbo Touch said he had a lot of words to say but for now he just wants to feel the pain.
“Farewell my friend. I can write volumes after volumes about our journey on and off air. But allow me to deal with this pain for now. PLEASE 🙏🏾 💔” wrote Tbo Touch on his Instagram.
Fans of Tbo Touch sent him messages of condolences encouraging him to stay strong and find comfort in the Lord.
The two were really close especially when on air the chemistry of their work relationship was undoubted.
Pearl passed away on Tuesday afternoon after a neighbour found her lying lifeless at her apartment North of Johannesburg.
Her family and the police have now confirmed the death of the news reader.
Cause of death still remains a mystery for now.
