Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known professionally as AKA, was a South African rapper. Born and raised in Cape Town, Forbes gained recognition after releasing his single “Victory Lap” from his debut studio album, Altar Ego

The lemonade hitmaker saw his 35th birthday celebration turned into his worst nightmare as he was allegedly shot dead in Durban, just outside the “Wish” restaurant where he was dining so that he can go to his birthday celebration at YUGO’s without an empty stomach.

It appears that the AKA assassination was well orchestrated and the assassin knew about his whereabouts as he was shot just 30 seconds after he exited the restaurant. CCTV footage shows a video of a hitman running towards AKA and his friend Tibz, and ended up killing them both with one shot.

Now, South Africans are afraid that AKA murder might go unsolved just like Dj Sumbody’s as the rate of murders keeps on rising in South Africa. However some people have started begging a well known private investigator called Baas Kruger on Facebook to hit the ground running on this case.

However it appears that even Baas Kruger is afraid of the Thembe’s as he went to post on Facebook rejecting this offer and he mentioned some fair reasons behind his decision. According to Baas Kruger the head of the NPA and also Bheki cele are involved with the Mafias in South Africa and South Africans should be expecting more Mafia style assassinations.

He said that the NPA can’t investigate AKA’s murder because their leader Shamila Batohi is involved with the Mafias. He said her first decision after her appointment was to withdraw cases against 27 corrupt policemen of the Carto Mano hit squad. The Carto Mano hit squad was arrested for the death of 45 people and especially for the death of Bret Kebble.

He also went on to say that the hit squad leader, Johan Boysen is also part of the government officials, as he was elected as Bheki Cele’s special adviser, and this just states that more mafia style hits are due to follow.
