Thembinkosi Lorch (born July 22, 1993) is a forward for the Orlando Pirates and the South African national team. In 2019, he was crowned South African Player of the Season as well as Players’ Player of the Season.

Thembinkosi Lorch began his career at Maluti FET College FC, earning the moniker “Nyoso.” He received a call from Screamer Tshabalala after a game versus Jomo Cosmos, informing him of the Pirates’ interest in him. As a result, he signed with the Orlando Pirates in 2015 and has since played for them as well as various other clubs on loan.

 

 
Lorch, who is on loan from Orlando Pirates to Chippa United, made his PSL debut against Free State Stars. He is well-known for his exceptional striking abilities.

In 2019, the Amapiano combo Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa (also known as Scorpion Kings) produced the song “Lorch,” which was inspired by the professional footballer.
