‘All things work together for good’ Cassper’s tweet hours before AKA was shot

Another dark cloud befalls the South African music industry as one of our most decorated rappers in the game dies in a drive-by shooting in Florida road, Durban. Born and raised in Cape town, Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes was 35 years old and left behind his daughter, his family, his fellow rapper girlfriend Nadia Nakai and ‘the game’ unattended. The sudden death of AKA shocks Mzansi, and there is a lot of controversy surrounding his death.

Before AKA died in the late hours of February 10, his fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest tweeted a tweep that has set tounges wagging on social media. Taking to Twitter, Cassper wrote:

All things work together for good.

His tweet received different reactions from Mzansi, which sees him topping the trends on Twitter. Here are some comments from Twitter:

It’s a good tweet, but please delete it. It is not gonna age well, considering what just happened. Stay strong, King. Its gonna be a bumpy ride.

Twitters Algorithm,😂😂 we all just had to see this tweet after we heard the news about AKA.

Cassper Nyovest is the most bullied musician. They blamed him for Ricky Rick death, Dj Sumbody death and now AKA dies, he trends again. Leave Cassper Nyovest alone.

Lord please protect @casspernyovest at all times. I’m also asking you to be his best friend and guide him at all times. Amen

AKA and Cassper’s beef
It’s common knowledge that AKA and Cassper Nyovest were not friends, and they have been beefing for as long as one can remember. And it’s never a great thing to be caught in the beef between the two.

It all began with a now-deleted tweet from 2014 in which Cassper Nyovest would claim his song Doc Shebeleza was the biggest on iTunes and not Zippyshare, as a jab towards AKA, who clapped back by sharing his sentiments, as his song Congratulate was also in the top 100 charts on iTunes at the time. Since then, they did not see eye to eye.
