As today is the funeral of the late Shona Ferguson who passed away on 30 July 2020 because of covid complications. Since he was well known and loved by many and because of the covid regulations only family was allowed to attend the funeral, but they also gave people an opportunity to watch the funeral live on TV channel 405 Newsfeed with Xoli Mngambi and other parts of the social media platforms.

During the funeral, family members were allowed to say a few words about the legendary Shona Ferguson, and Alicia was one of the people who said a few words about her father, it was not easy at all seeing a young girl who still needs her father’s love sharing the pain of losing her father.

Alicia in her own words she said “My dad has done a lot for me as a person, he has motivated me to take bigger steps in life that I wouldn’t have taken…I am very thankful that he has enabled me to do that”.
