The South African music and entertainment industry has been robbed one of the greatest musician’s Kiernan Forbes popularly known as AKA started a music in 2002 with his friends who were also interested in music. They made a musical group but later parted ways.

AKA was born and bred in Cape Town Western Cape province, he attended St Jones College a national private school. He attended this school from a very young age with other rich kids and became friends with those who liked music, on his old school pictures he is seen with,

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sizwe Mpofu Walsh who’s father is a politician and popular advocate Dali Mpofu and Simphiwe SimDope Gumede who’s father is a tycoon businessman and multi billionaire entrepreneur from Mpumalanga, Nelspruit, he is also a politician and sometimes he funds the ANC.

AKA and SimDope met when they were 11 years old and after they met, they became best friend. AKA used to be stunned about the kind of life SimDope lived and the kind of rich family he was from, SimDope’s father in 2013 hired Rick Ross to perform at his birthday party paying him R8 million per hour.

He is also the owner and founder of The IT Technology company called Gijima Technologies and it is a 100% black owned business. AKA wrote a song about his best friend SimDope and about his life, on his lyrics he says when he die he wants God to bring him back as SimDope.

On AKA’s funeral SimDope was one of the speakers and he spoke about how much AKA meant to him and spoke about the time they were young and went to a school trip to Australia. Ever since AKA’s funeral, Mzansi has been shocked to learn about the rich Gumede clan and SimDope has been trending.
