Kwa-Zulu Natal taxi boss claimed that hitmen was paid R250 000 to assassinate popular Hip-hop artist Kiernan AKA Forbes. The KZN taxi boss wanted to remain anonymous revealed in an interview that three hit men were probably hired to kill AKA. “He was a popular musician who was always with people. You need someone to drive the get away car. You need someone who will be where AKA is and give all the details about what he is doing then you need a hitman to pull the trigger” The taxi boss said.

 

 

 

He also said that hiring hitmen can cost R10 000 for a normal person and can go up to R500 000 depending on how high profiled the person is. The more dangerous you are the more costly the hit will be. He also said that some assassinations are so complex that they can take about 6 months to complete, like if you want to kill someone with body guards it cannot be done in a few weeks. The taxi boss said that hitmen who assassinated AKA are experienced professionals because they only two people in the group of men AKA had with him. The hitmen needs to get enough knowledge about their target before completing the hit because it reduces the risk of them
