A leaked video obtained from CCTV footage detailing AKA’s death is doing the rounds on social media.

That footage shows the moment the Hip Hop star was shot dead and it is still not clear how it found its way into the public domain.

 

 

 

 

The Forbes family, who issued a statement on Saturday calling on privacy, are reportedly being haunted by the video.

Legal representative Rudolf Baloyi said that the manner in which AKA and Tibz were murdered is a painful memory.

He appealed to members of the public to respect the Forbes family by not forwarding it further.

Speaking to the media, Baloyi divulged that AKA’s family had seen the video and it emotionally drained them.

“For him, he was just in the moment saying goodbye to Tibs for the night and someone comes and shoots him from the back. So it’s extremely painful, it’s an image that will stay with the family for very long,” said Baloyi.

Police are still investigating the shooting and no arrests have been made.
