The tragic death of AKA seemingly brought his family more close to each other including extended family members. His family honored him by giving him beautiful memorial service and private funeral, the Forbes family also vowed to continue with AKA’s legacy of which they call “The Megacy”

His best friend SimDope shared how they met and how they grew up together on his memorial service, he has also continued to be with the family even after the death of his best friend Kiernen. SimDope’s son was posted by Nadia Nakai hanging out with Kairo Forbes.

 

 

 

 

 

Even though AKA’s parents were said to have legally separated they still get together to celebrate their son’s life. In the past few months the family has been spending time with DJ Zinhle and her husband and they received controversies on social media about being close to AKA’s friends.

But Lynn Forbes affirmed everyone that after her eldest son’s passing as the Forbes family they will love and honor everyone their son loved and said she has gained new daughters and son’s.

Unfortunately the rapper passed on a few days before the release date of his album and his family released it on his behalf titled Mass Country, the album was certified platinum few weeks after its release and its single Lemonade ft Nasty C got platinum.

Mass Country album had six nominations at the Metro music awards and AKA won four awards on being the artist of the year, his family went on stage to express their gratitude and with pictures posted on social media they went to visit and celebrate his achievements on his grave.

There was his best friend SimDope, his parents, friends and his siblings. They had a South African flag on his grave and fresh flowers along his four awards. The family seemed happy and joyful.
