AKA’s dad Tony Forbes has defended the late rapper’s friends in a new interview

AKA’s father, Tony Forbes, is discouraging the public from pointing fingers at the late rapper’s friends amid his murder investigation, insisting that “there is no evidence” to suggest any wrongdoing.

Tony spoke out in an exclusive interview with eNCA over the weekend.

 
The slain star was gunned down by masked gunmen in Durban in February while in the company of his closest circle. While police claim that they are making headway in the murder investigation, the public has drawn their own conclusions about potential suspects.

Although he has moments of frustration, Tony claimed that the family were patient for the law to take its course.

He said of the police: “They’ve got to do it properly. There’s no point in just arresting people….it takes time.

“The investigating team is working as fast as they can.”
