The rappers have been sending their fans on a roller coaster ride when it came to the fight. They did however share videos of themselves preparing for the fight with one clowning the other for shaking in their boots as the pressure mounted.
The Energy rapper just signed the papers today saying he is ready to shut Cassper’s mouth, “It’s amazing how people can suddenly turn into tough guys when history and experience tells us otherwise. The time for talk is nearly over.”
The idea behind the boxing match started when AKA swore at Cassper’s parents when they were twaring for the millionth time on Twitter. Cassper said he has a reputation to uphold and endorsement deals to protect therefore he will not be seen street fighting. So a boxing match is the next best thing as there are also legalities surrounding the whole tournament.
Neither of them had signed the papers before today and this was revealed by AKA. He said the reason behind him taking his time with signing the contract is because he was still looking for someone to invest money in the match.
“Here’s where we are, the contract hasn’t been signed by EITHER of us. Why? Because I had to go find someone to invest 2 MILLION because they wanted to pay me 500k. Now that I have my money we should be concluding soon,” said AKA.
“I’m not doing too much talking. When it was time to fight and we asked for the contract to be signed, people were to busy focusing on their brand and their image. But rest assured … the fight WILL happen next year, make no mistake of that.”
“Boxing negotiations take time. When I was training this past year he was eating magwinya (vetkoeks). Now we must all jump and scrabble into line … doesn’t work like that. Fight will happen next year. That’s all their is to say about that. Happy Holidays,” said AKA.
Cassper expressed his excitement for the match because he can’t wait to teach AKA a lesson, “Stop lying to us. Your music career is over so sign the contract and let’s box mfanaka!!!! I can’t wait to get in the ring with you and beat you to a pulp!!!!”
