ventured into presenting when he launched the “The Braai Show with AKA” back in 2019. The show was initially part of his once-upon-a-time online platform, AKA TV. The show got a chance to flourish when it was picked up by SABC 1. One thing about the pandemic , is that it was good to celebrities that planned ahead, and one such celebrity was AKA. The show following its premiere on SABC 1, the show proved a crowd puller by bringing in over 2 million views after its first airing. Since then it has maintained its viewership and seems that it will return for a second season. This is if we can believe Mr. Finally-Signed-The-Contract.First, the BHOVAMANIA creator took to Twitter to ask his followers to provide names of celebrity guests he should invite on the last episodes of the first season. Now, it will not be Twitter if trolls did not use the opportunity to share some tea, shade and facts. The tea came with tweeps that suggested that he brings one of his exes on the show, and made it clear that AKA could decide on whom to bring on between Bonang Matheba or DJ Zinhle- and in extension maybe Murdah Bongz. The shade was with names like Black Coffee and Sizwe Dhlomo. A fact that AKA cannot argue against was the suggestion of arch-rival, Cassper Nyovest sitting down for a meal with AKA to flesh out their issues.
