AKA believed he’s the GOAT when it comes to producing music,.

Earlier this week, AKA shared his belief that he’s the GOAT when it comes to producing music, and he explained why.

Taking to his Twitter timeline, the rapper patted himself on the back for “statistically” being the GOAT.

“Statistically speaking, since I’ve produced 90% of all my music, surely I am the greatest SA hip hop producer of all time. Statistically,” he captioned the post.

In his mentions some followers were dumb-founded.

“I didn’t know that was the criteria to being the greatest SA hip hop producer. Artists produce all the time, whether it’s good or not is another story,” wrote one follower.

Some told the rapper the tweet was a marketing gimmick.

“ If using contentious statements to stir up controversy as part of your album release strategy, kindly do better. The album will be released in 20 days. There must be other ideas on the strategy board, right,” said another.

Recently AKA revealed he had ditched the clap back side to “be better”.

“Sometimes I crave dishing out humble pie like I used to, rubbing people’s faces in it after they peed on my carpet. *Sigh*. Being a better person is challenging,” he posted.

His latest hit single Lemons (Lemonade), featuring Nasty C, apparently reached gold status recently.

“Congratulations to the Megacy. Unofficially Lemons (Lemonade) has just gone gold. Awaiting RISA certification. Plaques will be done next week. I couldn’t hold it in any longer. We back in business baby,” he said.

Police confirmed that a 35-year-old male and his friend were shot dead on Friday.

Speaking to TimesLIVE, ALS paramedic Garrith Jamieson explained that just after 10.15pm this evening they responded to a shooting incident where two men sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

“On arrival, paramedics met total chaos and a scene where two men, believed to be in their late 30s, sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics assisted the men and unfortunately the first male had sustained multiple gun shot wounds and showed no signs of life and was declared deceased at the scene.”

He said a second male (now confirmed as Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane) was found in critical condition and died despite advanced life support intervention due to extensive injuries.
