Wiseman Mncube, popular for playing Mqhele Zulu in season 3 of The Wife on Showmax recently celebrated his birthday and his wife and kids made sure he knows he is appreciated.

Sharing a video of him unwrapping all the gifts he received, Mncube notes that it made him realize “how lucky” he is to “be blessed with such a beautiful family that loves and appreciates” him.

 

 

 

 

 

“This day it really hit me how lucky I am to be blessed with such a beautiful family who love appreciate honour value and respect me. I am grateful to be able to be the father and husband to you all,” said the actor.

“I was woken up to such Beautiful birthday gifts that filled my heart ❤️. Ngyabonga kakhulu to the mastermind that is my wife and my beautiful tribe my kids, you are the best.”Bonko Khoza’s exit from The Wife after two seasons came as a shock as the actor appeared to be thriving in the role. He was replaced by Wiseman Mncube who too became a fan-favourite.

Opening up about the real reason he left the telenovela, Khoza explained how working on The Wife gave him anxiety.

“The Wife… gave me a lot of anxiety bruv”, he said.

The actor further explained that when production went on a break, he decided to take the time to extend his time off.
