The young actress was born on the 16th of May 1993 in Mpumalanga, South Africa. So, Lesego Marakalla age now is 26 years. Lesego has always wanted to be an actress and started actively acting while in high school. In life, we were never told to follow our hearts and chase our dreams, no matter what. That being said, it was only natural for her to do precisely that. She attended Monis Arts House, which is located in Pretoria. She also focused on nurturing her acting talent and boost her success in showbiz and acting as a career.

Former ‘Skeem Saam’ actress Lesego Marakalla who played the role of Rachel Kunutu, is dedicating her time to support rape survivors.

Lesego has always wanted to be an actress, she started acting in High School. Despite being a major star in the world of flashy lights and never-ending glam, Marakalla is a rather reserved individual. She has successfully managed to keep her personal life private and separate from her on-screen persona. What we do know is that the young talent actively works with a foundation in Mamelodi in east Pretoria that donates school uniforms and shoes to learners at primary schools. She would also like to try her hand in script-writing soon, but she openly proclaims acting to be her first love.

The actress is big on charity, she is involved in an initiative that donates school supplies to learners who can’t afford them. Skeem Saam is her biggest acting role to date.

The actress revealed on her Instagram account that she is a brand ambassador for On Point Health Care where she assists rape survivors and hosts healing sessions for them.

The health care centre is run by Boitumelo Ntsoane who is a qualified pharmacist and a health column writer for various publications.

When she is not working, she is most likely spending time with her family and her close friends. From impeccable acting to charity work and prospects in script-writing, she enjoys a laid-back life with everything good around her. This freckle-faced queen is truly exquisite in her simplicity!
