There is nothing sad as death. It comes as a shock when you least expect it, you do not prepare for it.

Last month, the entertainment industry learnt with shock the sudden passing of a very talented legendary actress, Busi Lurayi.

Her passing left the industry in shock as a lot was expected from Lurayi.

 

She died when she had just started shooting on eTV’s telenovela, Scandal.

Now, fans of Lurayi will get to witness her action again as she makes her final curtain in Scandal.

Before her passing, she had joined Scandal but then she died before she could finish her scenes.

On September 2, she will be seen on Scandal playing the role of Me’Shell, who is a long-time friend of Layla McKenzie and a wife of a wealthy businessman.

As she died before the complete scenes of Me’Shell, Scandal has had her close friend and fellow actor Thuli Thabethe to step in and take over Me’Shell’s remaining scenes which will be screened later in September.

It is said that Thuli accepted the role with great compassion and said she respected Busi as an artist and was grateful for the opportunity to take over from her.
