Actress Was Blacklisted From Acting After Dating A Married Man, She’s Now Back On Our Screens

The Queen is a South African Telenovela that has been airing for a number of years. Over the last five years, it has gained and lost viewers. Many characters have been deleted from the Queen, some because to personal feuds with the directors, and others because the role no longer fits the plot.

Liopelo Maphathe cited “making the wrong judgments and having to live up to those mistakes” as the reason for her departure from the entertainment industry. Maphathe, who was born and raised in Lesotho, studied arts and drama at the University of the Free State before relocating to Johannesburg to pursue her acting career.

Even if theater is her initial love, she admits that television has taken over. She argues that television brought with it a slew of things, including the need to live in order to make others happy, as well as criticism. She stated that it had a different effect on her. She considered that there was considerably more celebrity than wealth, and that maintaining it would be impossible at the moment.

She decided to leave the industry after giving birth to her baby in 2009. It made sense to her at the time, she argues, because she was a single mother who wanted to see things through. She’ll be reprising her role as Hector Sebata’s sister on The Queen beginning in July. We are overjoyed to see her back on our screens. She’s currently on Rhythm City as well.
