Multi-talented South African television personality and actress Buhle Samuels sent social media into a frenzy following reports that she may have got married over the weekend.

On Saturday night, social media went into overdrive after several posts went viral on social media claiming that the actress was married in an elaborate traditional ceremony.

Some photos of the actress who played Zandile Majola on “Imbewu: The Seed” and Matshidiso Mafokeng on “Muvhango” dressed in Xhosa traditional wedding attire also made the rounds online.

Celebrity gossip page The Popcorn Room shared a video of the alleged traditional wedding ceremony. The gossip page went on to write,

There is a big wedding in the Eastern Cape today, but no one is posting. Aaaaaibo, did they all make you all sign NDAs.

In another post, the Popcorn Room said,

Congratulations, Buhle Samuels and Thando. Can’t hide such content from the Spyros.

Gossip and celebrity blogger Musa Khawula also posted saying that Buhle Samuels had got married. However, his information seemed to be different from the Popcorn Room.

According to Musa, Buhle got married to fellow actor Wiseman Mncube. Wiseman plays the role of Sibonelo on soapie Uzalo.

The Popcorn Room, on the other hand, said that Buhle Samuels got married to Thando.

Musa Khawula’s information on the identity of the groom is unlikely to be correct, however. Buhle was dressed in Xhosa traditional wedding attire, and this does not conform with Wiseman Mncube, who is Zulu.

The gorgeous actress was yet to confirm that she had got married at the time of publishing. Her social media pages were bereft of any photos or videos from the traditional wedding ceremony.
